Dr Paul Myers

Paul Myers original background was as an NHS General Practitioner, in Romford Essex when he also pursued his interest in doctor’s education needs assessment, and held a senior lecturer post with QMW, London.   He retired from the NHS to practice as an independent sector GP specialising in supporting medical laser providers. 

He is a clinical lead at the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and has overseen their appraisal and revalidation service for the last 12 years.  

Although he is semi-retired he also continues to provide appraisals for non-NHS doctors for a wide range of designated bodies as well as responsible officers. His current research interest is the quality assurance of doctor’s appraisals, and his clinical work now concentrates on supporting medical and aesthetic laser providers in the UK.
