President’s Message
Welcome to our first BCAM Virtual Conference 2020!
Dear Members, Sponsors, Journalists & Colleagues,
We are extremely proud to welcome you to our first BCAM Virtual Conference 2020 this 14-19th September.
We have worked tirelessly as a team and faced the challenge presented as a result of the Covid situation to fulfil our commitment to continued education & supporting our members and the speciality of Aesthetic Medicine in these unusual times.
A special thanks to our BCAM Conference Trustee Catherine Fairris and Dawn Larcombe for leading on the event as well as all the support from all our Trustees, CEO and Management Team.
As you can see we have a packed agenda over 6 days covering an array of topics including complications management, body contouring & weight control, women’s health, skin of colour management, Covid wellbeing management. We also have the latest updates on our collaborations with Legal Counsel in relation to the Covid situation, Department of Health & Social Care, insurance advice & planning and updates from the GMC.
To complement the educational programme we are also pleased to have organised social evening wine tasting receptions and a Press Event for our journalist partners.
Our Sponsors have been instrumental in allowing us to create this exciting agenda and we are grateful to their continued support.
Thank you all for all your support, positive feedback and motivation we have received to date - we’re looking looking forward to seeing you next week!
Dr Uliana Gout
President BCAM
From our Conference Director: Dr Catherine Fairris:
Welcome to BCAM Conference 2020: our first attempt at delivering a virtual conference to our membership.
We are so proud to be able to offer this educational event especially in a world where there is so much uncertainty and so many other educational conferences have had to be cancelled or postponed.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all our speakers, sponsors and delegates for their support. Especially considering this is a totally new concept for us all.
I would like to ask for all attendees to be patient with us as I’m sure that our learning curve will be very steep as the event progresses!
However, we are confident that we will deliver an evidence based, educational and enjoyable conference for you all.
2020 will be a year that is remembered for many things: not least how we all became experts in using zoom, but also the year BCAM conference went virtual.
