Dr. Karim Sayed, a distinguished medical professional, completed his medical degree from the University of Oslo Medical School in 2003. He has since established himself as a key opinion leader of note, both within the Nordic region and on the international stage.
Born to a Norwegian mother and a Lebanese father in Oslo, Norway, Dr. Karim's upbringing spanned both his native country and the cosmopolitan city of Dubai. This multicultural background has given him a unique global perspective, which he brings to his professional endeavors.
With a career in aesthetic medicine spanning over 15 years, Dr. Karim's expertise is extensive and multifaceted. He co-owns and operates the renowned Nomi Clinic in Oslo, while also serving as a lecturer at the University of South-Eastern Norway.
Dr. Karim´s influence extends beyond academia and clinical practice. He is a co-founder and former chair of The Norwegian Association for Quality in Aesthetic Medicine (NORFEM). As a speaker, he has shared his insights at conferences such as AMWC, IMCAS, BTS, CMAC conference and more. His research in the aesthetics field has been published in scientific papers, with more studies currently underway. Additionally, he dedicates one week per month to his work at the Ouronyx Clinic in Dubai.
A significant area of Dr. Karim's interest lies in the management of complications in aesthetic medicine. He consults with patients from across Norway who are dealing with such issues. His expertise in this area is recognized globally, as evidenced by his position on the global advisory board of CMAC.
He also serves as Allergan Medical Institute´s complications consultant in Norway, sits on their European complications group and is a global consultant to Allergan´s neurotoxin team.
Dr. Sayed's commitment to education extends to his role as a trainer. With over a decade of experience in this capacity, he organizes several masterclasses each year. These sessions cover a range of topics, including toxins, dermal fillers, EBDs, anatomy and complications. But first and foremost, Dr Karim considers himself a clinician. Treating his patients is the core of his work and his trainings and teaching will always have a practical and clinical real-world perspective.
